Goblins are no match for the Sandpoint Three! After a prolonged and bitter fight, the heroes dispatch the goblins at the northern gate of Sandpoint. Aldern Foxglove, genteel as ever, expresses his desire to properly thank them soon. He bestows extra praise on Silas, declaring him the “Savior of Sandpoint. Aldern hopes to see the gang later at the Rusty Dragon, Sandpoint’s local tavern.

Upon reaching the tavern, Silas, Krask, and Niko are greeted by its owner, Ameiko Kaijitsu. She offers the trio a free week of lodging at the Rusty Dragon in thanks for their help in saving Sandpoint. After a somber drink at the bar, the heroes turn in for a well-deserved sleep.

In the morning, the group finds Ameiko talking to Sheriff Hemlock. The sheriff introduces himself to the adventurers. He discloses that something fishy happened at the cathedral either overnight or during the attack. Father Zantus noticed that the burial vault to Ezekien Tobyn was disturbed. He asks the group to investigate. The cathedral is jointly shared as a worship space for Desna, Abadar, Sarenrae, Shelyn, Gozreh, and Erastil.

Upon reaching the burial vault, located in the graveyard behind the cathedral, the group notices six different goblin tracks and one set of medium humanoid footprints. They lead back and forth from the cathedral to the wall leading into the neighboring forest. The burial vault is open. Niko carefully walks into the vault for further investigation. Waiting in the vault are two living skeletons!

Was the entire raid a cover up for a more sinister plot? What became of Ezekien Tobyn’s tomb? When will shops open back up so the heroes can sell their loot?
