The Sandpoint Three, led by the seemingly invincible Silas Khan, clear the furnace room of goblins. They are assisted by the elf Avuhas Oli (Avu) after he breaks free of his bonds. Avu is an alchemist, using bombs to fight the goblins. The heroes learn that Avu lives with his sister, Siyu, in the woods. He was knocked out on his way to his first night of work at the Sandpoint Glassworks. He wishes to join Silas, Krask, and Niko in the search for Ameiko.
In one of the offices, the team finds paper evidence of Lonjiku’s dealings with shady Sandpoint locals. A bloody fingerprint near a set of stairs prompts them to explore the Glassworks basement. In the basement, they are surprised by an elven man hiding around a corner. The elf says they “shouldn’t be here” and is annoyed that the goblins on the main level didn’t do their job. The heroes flank the elf in a narrow hallway. Avu uses a potion to transform into a hulking, muscular creature. Together, the group knocks the elf unconscious.
Why is this elf conspiring with regional goblin tribes? What other surprises await in the Glassworks basement? Can Avu become a permanent member of the group?
We Done Gone Goofed! – Rules Clarifications
- Grappling a creature without the Improved Grapple feat or Grab ability provokes an attack of opportunity. If the attack hits, the attacker takes damage as normal and applies that damage as a penalty to the CMB check to perform the grapple.
